• Starting pay $10-$12/Hour (unarmed)
• Monitor facility alarm systems and provide
escorts and parking lot patrols
• Perform rounds of facility
• Prepare written reports
• Respond to emergencies by notifying
appropriate personnel
• Maintain access control for visitors and
employees
• Ensure all CCTV and alarm systems are
functional
• Assigned to a regular account
with either
full-time or part-time hours
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (to move a victim from a hazardous environment)
•Must be able to perform patrol and escorts over uneven surfaces/stairs
•Must be able to perform extensive walking and/or stationary standing (minimum 8 hours)
•Must be able to respond to calls for services and/or assistance
•Monitoring entrances and exits may require extensive sitting
•Must be able to observe, hear and effectively communicate, (using English language) any criminal activity to location
•Must be able to provide clear written documentation in English language
•High School diploma or GED
•Must be at least 18 years of age
•Must pass a criminal background check
•Military experience, (i.e. Military Police) or related experience preferred
•Must pass a drug screening test (per contract)
Additional Qualifications (ARMED):
•Military experience, (Military Police), or a minimum of one year of documented related experience
•Must be eligible for a Minnesota Firearms Permit
• Paid Training - Basic Security Officer Training Program
• 2 Weeks Paid Vacation after one year for full-time employees
