ALCOHOL MONITORINGRemote alcohol monitoring devices measure the tested individual breath alcohol level, similar to the portable systems used by patrol police officers. Results are transferred to monitoring center officers, confirming individuals’ compliance with their program. Alcohol monitoring system can be utilized as an independent measure, or in combination with a restrictive home detention schedule.
